Graduated from the School of Art and Design and New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University with a Bachelor of Fine arts and a minor in Art History, Susanna Barger is a New Hampshire raised artist and writer. While she considers herself a creative omnivore, if pressed she will say she concentrates in “books and book arts”. But she prides her extensive collaborations in dance and performance. Her contribution to the 2019 Verso/Recto printmakers’ exchange was exhibited in universities in Alfred, NY; Sacramento, CA; Saskatoon, Canada; and Krakow, Poland. In 2020 she completed a residency at Art Print Residence in Arenys de Munt, Catalunya, Spain. In November of 2021 she published her first collection of written works for the stage. Her greatest professional failure is her refusal to copy edit her own website.
